Okay - Lightroom noob here  Wink looking at the export options, what should I be using (assuming JPEG is my ideal format) for:

- RGB mode
- dpi
- 8 bit or 16 bit

sRGB- most consumer output devices use this colour space. If you are going to submitt stuff to yaketti then it should be in SRGB. This is true of any files that you want to view over the internet.

dpi between 240-300

16 bit is great to work on but hard for other people to use, its also much bigger. Some of the filters and things in PS" don't work on 16bit files.  You get much greater accuracy and control with a 16 bit file, but it will need to be converted to an 8 bit later on anyway.

I save all my stuff as 8 bit, I know that is need be i can go back to the raw files and save as 16bit if need be.

Great - thanks Sy - was using Adobe RGB - so will change that from now  Smiley
